Allowing Yourself T Do Nothing

There is a constant pressure going on about how much we need and should do as business owners.

But what about the days when you really don’t want to do anything at all? When you feel like just watching Tv, sleep, spend hours on the net doing nothing but “useless” browsing.

Most of us have days like that. And it’s ok. I’m here to tell you that you don’t need to feel bad.

You are allowed to have days when you do nothing.

A “nothing” day is ok every now and then and is probably even good for you, if it doesn’t happen to often. If you fo find that it happens too often it can mean you simply need to take a look at how you run your business. It can be the sign of lack of strategy and business plan. It can be a sign of overwhelm and that you need to get organized.

  1. “Do Nothing Days” are great. They keep you focused on the difference between work and play, but you should perhaps treat a “do nothing day” as a third weekend-day, even if it’s not every week.

    This way, you are rewarding yourself for all your hard work – as long as in your remaining 4 day working week, you do actually work hard.

    Your “do nothing day” can also be that day in which you can have peace and quiet instead of the hustle and bustle of a weekend with shopping, family and days out on the town or at the park. Instead, it can be a day that allows you to take a step back and contemplate you rlife and your owrk.

    Most of my good ideas come as a result of taking time out.
